How to find us
Located in the heart of legal London, The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple sits on Crown Office Row, within the historic Inner Temple grounds, just south of Fleet Street and a short walk from the River Thames.
Transport
Tube: Temple Station (Circle and District lines) is a 2-minute walk. Blackfriars Station (Circle, District, and Thameslink lines) and Chancery Lane (Central line) are both within a 5–10 minute walk.
Bus: Routes 4, 11, 15, 23, 26, 76, and 172 all serve nearby stops along Fleet Street, The Strand, and Victoria Embankment.
Train: Blackfriars Station (Thameslink) is a 5-minute walk. City Thameslink is approximately 7 minutes on foot. London Waterloo is accessible via a 15-minute walk across Waterloo Bridge.
Car: Limited street parking is available on Victoria Embankment (meter-controlled). The nearest car parks include Q-Park Minories and NCP Smithfield. Please check their websites for current rates and opening hours. Please note that access to the Inner Temple grounds by car is restricted, so visitors are advised to use public transport where possible.
Cycling: Please note that cycling on the Estate is restricted. The Inn has cycle racks by 2, 8 and 11 King’s Bench Walk, 2 and 5 Paper Buildings and behind 2 Crown Office Row (entrance via the Carpmael Archway). Bicycles must not be locked to any railings within the Estate.
The Transport for London cycle hire docking stations closest to the Inn are on Temple Gardens, Tallis Street and Arundel Street.
Bedroom facilities
We have 2 bedrooms available for Inner Temple members and event guests. Unfortunately, these are not accessible due to the age and nature of the buildings.

Hard of hearing
Hearing loops are functional in all rooms except Room 8, 4th floor breakout, Parliament Chamber and Drawing room. These 4 spaces currently do not have hearing aid.
Security
The main entrance to The Inner Temple is via Tudor Street. The Tudor Street Gate is staffed at all times and our security team will be happy to help with directions.
The Inn operates 24/7 security. CCTV is used on the Inn’s estate and images are monitored and recorded for the purposes of crime prevention and detection and the safety of persons within The Inner Temple. The system is controlled by the Inn.
