The Terrace at The Inner Temple

The Terrace sits at the front of the Treasury Building, overlooking the Garden with its lavender beds, shrubs and seasonal greenery. It offers a beautiful open air setting for summer events in the heart of the City of London, with a relaxed and elegant feel.

Working particularly well for arrival drinks before an evening celebration or as a refreshing close to a daytime event, the Terrace allows guests to move seamlessly between the indoor rooms and the fresh air without ever leaving the estate.

Available from May to September, between 6.00pm and 9.00pm.

The Terrace experience

Set between Georgian architecture and the Garden, the Terrace feels defined and self contained at the front of the Treasury Building.

Following a daytime conference or event, it offers a natural setting to step outside for a well deserved reception in the open air. Guests can move easily from the indoor rooms into the evening light while remaining within the estate.

South facing and framed by historic buildings, it catches the sun as it begins to soften, providing a relaxed transition from formal proceedings to conversation.

When to book

The Terrace is available from May to September. On weekdays, it is offered during the evening, while weekend hire includes daytime and evening availability.
