The award-winning three acre Garden provides a striking setting for drinks receptions and open air entertaining. During its installation period, the Pavilion sits within the Garden as a high end covered structure for larger celebrations, accommodating up to 600 guests.
How a summer party typically unfolds at The Inner Temple
Summer parties often begin on the Terrace, where guests gather for arrival drinks in an elegant outdoor setting close to the principal reception rooms.
For larger groups, the Garden becomes the main setting for drinks and entertainment, offering scale and atmosphere for summer celebrations.
When installed, the Pavilion becomes the focal point of larger events. Dining, production, live music and DJs can be hosted within this covered space, creating energy and focus while retaining a connection to the surrounding Garden.
On weekends, daytime formats are well suited to corporate family events and broader summer celebrations, with space for garden games and informal entertainment across the grounds. Pegasus Bar & Restaurant is also available to hire at weekends, offering a stylish indoor setting for more intimate gatherings, with its own terrace suited to summer entertaining.
Events are centred around the most suitable primary space for the format and guest numbers, ensuring clarity and ease throughout.

Packages
Summer parties can be delivered through seasonal packages or a bespoke approach.
Catering options range from canapés and bowl food to interactive BBQ style menus and live food stations, suited to both relaxed garden receptions and high energy evening celebrations. Unlimited drinks packages and tailored bar options are available, allowing you to shape the experience for your guests.
Entertainment can be incorporated across the Garden and Pavilion, including live bands, DJs, staging and production lighting. Garden games and informal activity zones can also be introduced, particularly for weekend and family focused events.

Indoor and outdoor spaces for summer parties
Planning considerations
Outdoor spaces are available from May to September, with the Pavilion installed between Tuesday 16 June and Thursday 9 July 2026.
Midweek summer events begin from 6.00 pm, with the Pavilion available until 10.30 pm. A limited number of earlier Pavilion start times are available on select dates.
At weekends, the Garden, Pavilion, Terrace and Church Court are available from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm. Pegasus Bar & Restaurant may also be incorporated as part of a weekend event.
Wet weather contingency is built into planning for the Garden, Terrace and Church Court, with indoor alternatives arranged where required. The Pavilion operates as a covered standalone event space during its installation period.
Early discussion is recommended for peak June and July dates.
